The Pac-Man cabinet comes with two games ready to play. The first is the original Pac-Man. First released in 1980, this iconic game has lost none of its playability. It’s lots of fun, whether you’re playing it for the first time or you’re a seasoned pro, feeling the nostalgia from your amusement arcade days. Follow the maze and collect Pac-Dots for points, avoiding the dangerous ghosts!
The second game is Pac-Man Plus. This development of Pac-Man, released in 1982, brought new graphics, new power-ups (with various items like Coca-Cola cans replacing the fruit) and faster, more in-depth gameplay. It is widely recognized as being more difficult and faster than the original Pac-Man – and even more of a challenge!
Authentic, Licensed Control Layout
The controls are just as you remember them – a four-way joystick to help you guide Pac-Man through the maze, and start buttons for 1-player or 2-player games. The 2-player games are turn-based, just like the original. Otherwise, you have a simple machine on/off switch and a volume adjustment slider. It couldn’t be easier to get straight into your game!
The cabinet stands at around 4ft high, making it roughly 3/4-size when compared to a conventional arcade. This height is perfect for seated games, perhaps using a matching Arcade1Up stool. If you prefer to play standing up, there’s an optional riser that lifts your machine up by another 12 inches. Add your riser and stool using the dropdowns above.
